My name is Andrew Sheppard of Tazewell Virginia and unitl now I have kept silent about the humors and lies that
has been spread about me in the Tazewell area.
A local instructor has told parents and former students of mine that I was kicked out and he was brought in to replace
me. This is just not true I moved to Roanoke Virginia and addressed the class before I moved to Roanoke and told them what
was going on. So my old students know the truth.
Another lie that has been going around is that im a fake instructor that awards myself rank. So lets clear the air below
is a list of instructors I have trained with through out the years.
I now teach Wing Chun full time and add what is useful from the Japanese and Korean styles. A area instructor has said
that I'm a self made man so lets clear the air.
- Wing Chun was invented over 300 years ago I didnt invent the style someone beat me to it......Google it !!!!!
- Wing Chun dosent use *RANK* and I refuse to play the rank game. These days there are people out there who have 15 stripes
running down their belts and proclaiming that they are Grandmasters in 5 or 6 different styles. I'm a student of Wing Chun
who dosent use rank. I didnt make the "NO" use of rank thing either Kung Fu styles have used no rank in their systems
for 100's of years.....Again Google it !!!!!!
- Taekwondo in our area is so flawed that I wouldnt even know where to begin. There are alot of honorable instructors out
there who if dug into their Masters past would be sick. If your pockets are deep enough you can get what you want these days.
- Japanese Arts are for me is a family thing that goes back 20 generations. My mother was sick and a Japanese Family took
me in and taught me a system that has proven to amaze me to this day. I will spend the rest of my life studying this system
and the great thing no rank was ever give or even talked about.
- You dont jump from Black Belt to 10th Degree Black Belt over night ...Anyone out there can send the right amount of money
and they will send you a certificate showing you are a "Grandmaster of a Style" ...DONT BE FOOLED PEOPLE"

I refuse to get caught up in the "He Said She Said" crap that is going around Tazewell. I now live in Roanoke
Virginia and do not and will not take part in any name bashing of any kind that is going on. I hope that my
former students will not let the area instructor bash my name and will set the record straight.
I wish the best of luck to any instructor in Southwest Virginia but to say that I'm fake and I was kicked out
of my own school and the most recent thing is that I beat on my students.....Its just funny.....
If you as a instructor have to stand in front of your students and talk trash about other area instructors to
gain their respect and send them out to spread lies about these other instructors you have to ask yourself a question as a
parent..........
*DO I REALLY WANT MY STUDENT IN A CLASS ROOM WHERE THE INSTRCUTOR TEACHES HATE AND TO SPREAD LIES.*
The last thing I have to say about this issue is that the people spreading these lies are setting an example
to the future martial artists and the cycle will never stop. We all should be learning from one another instead of all this
fighting.
To all the people out there who are caught these second hand lies please dont feed into the B.S.
I moved out of Tazewell in 2005 and have had very little contact with anyone from Tazewell and surrounding areas
so if anything has been damage ties between Sifu Sheppard and other area martial artists I Andrew Sheppard truely apologize
!!!!!!

his life and he has gained the respect of other martial artists and people through out Virginia and West Virginia.

Bottom line is this .... I think that the children is the future of martial arts and if they see adults
acting like kindergrateners then thats how they are going to go about teaching and viewing the martial arts world.
My theory is this I have had enough of the trash talk come and say it to my face I dont hide. There
was a message on my page that said "Come to my school and you will deal with me and another instructor." Thats really
3rd grade of you.
Like Mr Miyagi said ..."Your school to much advantage" ..I dont hide but its time for me to show why
im the best ...I will have schools all around you and in time my students will be some of the best in the state. I dont
have to send money into a website to get a certificate saying "GRANDMASTER" .. Last time I checked it was earned not bought
... And I find it odd how a person can go from a Black Belt in Jujutsu or a 10th Dan in Jujutsu .. Guess with a big enough
check book anyone can buy the rank they want...
If you back this scorpion into the corner you will feel his sting !!!! I have no problem with you or
anyone else in this area.
